Hello! I’m Kelsey
I am a Psychotherapist / Counsellor
& Yoga Teacher
It wasn’t always this way…
I am a recovering stress head and former corporate marketing professional who wandered into my first yoga class desperate to learn how to relax.
I started teaching yoga in 2012 to share the amazing practices I so dearly loved with others. Since then, I trained as a yoga therapist and expanded upon my Bachelor (with honours) in Psychology by getting my Masters degree in Counselling and Applied Psychotherapy and advanced clinical training Gestalt Therapy.
Now I practice as both a yoga teacher and a psychotherapist / counsellor; integrating embodiment (awareness of your body) practices and mindfulness into my therapy sessions.
THERAPEUTIC MODALITIES
I practice integrative psychotherapy, I can tailor an approach to suit you and your unique needs.
Generally, my sessions are informed by gestalt therapy | Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy / parts work | somatics | psychodynamic psychotherapy | relational therapy | mindfulness | yoga | narrative and person centred therapy.
I will work with you to identify your main concerns, discuss them in depth and set goals for how you want to move forward.
I believe therapy is successful when there is a strong and stable relationship between client and therapist.

YOGA STYLE
I teach hatha yoga, meditation, mindfulness and yoga therapy which means that I teach with a great respect for your uniqueness. I encourage slow and mindful movement - with awareness on mind and body. You'll often hear me talking about psychology and yogic philosophy.
I hope that by sharing the practice of yoga, I can lead others on their own journey of self-discovery, transformation, or at least help you find some calm.
Within quiet moments of stillness, we can all find our space within.
Let me help you live a less stressful, more peaceful life.
My Mission
To guide you out of stress and into well-being. To help you live a healthy life full of purpose, wellness, choice and mindful attention.
